Restful describes a place, a time, or an activity that is peaceful and quiet and helps you relax — a restful room, a restful holiday, restful music. We do not usually say “I am restful” when we mean we slept well; we say “I feel rested” or “I feel relaxed.” Restless is the sour twin: you cannot keep still or calm. Restful is a warm, ordinary word, a little softer than just “quiet.”
寧靜的;讓人放鬆的(多形容地方或時光,很少形容人)。
