A reorganization is when a company, a school, a government office, or any group is arranged in a new way — new teams, new bosses, new jobs. The word names that change, not a small tidy-up of a desk. Though actually, people often hear it with a tight feeling: a reorganization at work can mean some jobs move and some jobs disappear. It can also be a calm, planned improvement. This spelling with z is the American one; British English often reorganisation. Both are the same word. It is a noun (the process or the result). The verb is .
