    someone whose job is to help people buy and sell houses, apartments, or land.

    Realtor 是美式英文裡「房仲、房地產經紀人」的說法——幫人找房子、看房子、把房子賣掉的那個人。它是美國一個公會的註冊商標，所以正式寫法首字母大寫（Realtor），不過日常寫小寫 realtor 也很常見。英國人講同一個工作會說 estate agent，最中性、到哪裡都通的說法則是 real estate agent。可以想成 realtor 就像從 realty（房地產）長出來的一個職稱：那個世界裡的人。

They do not own the house themselves; they work in the space between owner and buyer.
