1. 1

If a film, a record, or a CD is re-released, a company puts the same work out again so people can buy it or watch it a second time. There is often a small change: a new cover, cleaner sound, extra scenes, or a new way to watch it, such as moving an old disc onto a streaming site. Ordinary people usually just say a film is out again or an album is back. Re-release is more of a company and news word. Though actually, it is not a remake and not a sequel. A remake is a new film of the same story. A sequel is the next story. A re-release is the old one, shown or sold once more.

    重新發行(唱片再推出;電影再上映也常這麼說)
