Raving describes someone talking wildly, loudly, or in a way that doesn't make sense, as if they're a little crazy — "raving mad" means completely crazy. It's also used, , before an adjective to make it stronger, like "a raving success" or "a raving beauty," meaning an extreme, obvious example of it.
