Radwaste is a short work-word for radioactive waste: leftover material that still gives out radiation, from hospitals, labs, or nuclear power. People in that field write it as one word. Though actually, most of us never say radwaste in daily English; we say nuclear waste or radioactive waste. It is the same kind of clipping as hazwaste for hazardous waste — handy on a form, odd at the dinner table.
