    Querulously is how you do something when you are being querulous: you speak, ask, or complain in that peevish, fussing way. The adjective querulous describes the person (or the voice); this adverb describes the action. It is still a word, not playground English. “He asked querulously why dinner was late” means he asked it as a complaint, not as a calm question.
