If you call someone pushy, you mean they try too hard to get what they want from other people, and you do not like it. They may interrupt, ask again and again, sell too hard, or put themselves forward when nobody asked. Parents sometimes worry about pushy parents who pressure teachers or other children. It is always a little rude as a label; the same behaviour, said kindly, might be called confident, ambitious, or assertive. Informal, everyday English, used about people and sometimes about a manner (a pushy salesperson). It does not mean physically pushing.
