Prosodic is the adjective that points to the music sitting on top of the words themselves: which syllable is strong, whether the voice goes up or down, how we group beats, how fast or slow we speak. In a poem, a prosodic question is about metre and rhythm — the pattern of the lines. In the science of language, prosodic features are things like stress and intonation, not the separate vowel and consonant sounds. It is a specialist word. Ordinary people say 'the rhythm of the sentence' or 'the way it sounds.' You will meet it in linguistics class and in careful talk about poetry. Though actually it is easy to mix with prosaic, which looks a little similar but comes from prose and means 'ordinary, a bit dull.' They are not a pair.
