    Pervy is a rough, informal way of saying someone is a bit of a pervert — sexually creepy, staring, making comments about bodies that do not belong in the room. Though actually it is usually an adjective, not a noun: you say a pervy comment, a pervy look, “he was being pervy.” The noun people use is a , or more a pervert. It is gossip-and-playground English, especially British informal; it is and not polite. It is not a doctor’s word and not a kind word. In class or in an essay, skip it.
