    If something is perverted, it has been twisted away from what is normal, natural, or right. It is most often used today about sexual behavior that most people see as strange or wrong, but it can also describe an idea that has been badly twisted — like 'a perverted sense of justice,' meaning a very wrong idea of what is fair.
