Pardonably is the adverb: in a way that is not very bad and can be forgiven — often “understandably.” He was pardonably proud means his pride makes sense; you would not blame him. She was pardonably impatient means the wait was long enough that feels human. The word is at home in careful writing more than in chat. It usually sits just before an adjective that names a feeling (pardonably angry, pardonably pleased). It does not mean “I beg your pardon” and it is not how you say sorry.
