'Occult' describes things connected to magic, spirits, and hidden supernatural power that cannot be explained by science — like cards, , or old magic books. It does not automatically mean 'evil'; it just means 'hidden' or 'secret' in this special, mysterious sense. Doctors also use this word in a much plainer way: 'occult blood' means blood that is present but too small in amount to see with your eyes, only found by a test.
與魔法、超自然有關的「神秘的」;醫學上的「隱血」則是指肉眼看不見、需檢驗才知道的血。
組成From Latin 'occultus,' meaning 'hidden,' from 'occulere' (to hide), built from 'ob-' (over) + 'celare' (to hide).
