The nosecone is the pointed front of a plane, a rocket, or a missile — the part that meets the air first. It is shaped that way so the machine can move fast with less push against it. On a rocket or missile the front may also hold instruments or a load; on a plane it often hides radar. This is a technical word you meet in news about space, aircraft, or weapons, not in kitchen talk. People sometimes write it as two words, nose cone; that is the same thing. Calling it a “nose” is already a picture: the front of the machine, like the front of a face.
