    Nonverbally tells you how something is done: without words. You can agree nonverbally with a nod, or show you are angry nonverbally by turning away and saying nothing. Same idea as nonverbal, but nonverbal sits before a noun (nonverbal signals) and nonverbally goes with a verb (she answered nonverbally). “She answered nonverbally” means the answer was a look or a gesture, not a sentence.
