Used of a place, a group, or an event that includes people from several different religions at once. An airport may have a multi-faith prayer room; a school may hold a multi-faith service. It is a calm, official-sounding word, the kind you see on signs and in school or government writing. Though actually it sits next to , and people mix them: multi-faith often just means several religions are there; more often means the groups are talking or working with each other.
