Mozambiquean means a person from Mozambique, or something that belongs to that country — Mozambiquean music, a Mozambiquean city, Mozambiquean history. Mozambique itself is the country on the southeast African coast, with Maputo as its capital, Tanzania to the north and South Africa to the south. In the 1980s and early 1990s it went through a long civil war. Though actually, in newspapers and most books the usual English word is Mozambican, not Mozambiquean. Both are trying to do the same job. If you see Mozambican, it is not a different country.
