To morph is to take on a new look, or to make something do that: the hero morphs into a wolf; the quiet street morphed into a market. It feels informal and a bit film-and-computer: special effects made the verb famous. People also stretch it for any clear change of role or style, not only a change of body. Though actually, in language study a morph is also a noun — a small piece of a word’s form — and that is a different, technical use. Everyday mostly meet the verb, often with into.
