    A millilitre is a very small unit for measuring liquid. One thousand millilitres make one litre. You see it written ml on drinks, medicine, and cooking tools: a small can of soda is often about 330 millilitres. People use it when they need to be exact, not when they are pouring “a bit” by eye. Though actually, a millilitre is the same amount as a cubic , the old hospital name “cc.” In everyday talk many people just say “ml,” letter by letter. British English millilitre; American English milliliter. The amount does not change — only the letters at the end do.
