One way to picture a milk round: early morning, one person, one fixed route. Left at the corner shop, up the hill, a bottle on every doorstep, in the same order as yesterday. Tomorrow the same line is walked again. The picture is not really about milk — it is about going through a set list, one stop after another, until the round is finished.
