Methamphetamine is a strong drug that speeds the body and mind and can make a person feel full of energy and very awake. On the street people call the crystal form ice or crystal meth; that is the same drug in a form that is often smoked. It is built from amphetamine, an older stimulant, with an extra methyl piece added — which is why it is stronger.
