Marlborough is a town in Wiltshire, in the southwest of England. mostly meet the name because of Marlborough College, a famous and expensive school. In British English that kind of school is called a public school, though actually it is private and you pay a lot — not like a 公立 school in Taiwan. The town itself is old and not huge. You may also see the name on the Duke of Marlborough in British history, but the word you are learning here is the town and its school.
