信停下來等人的地方
兩個意思是同一個畫面的兩種大小:一個是地址,一個是箱子。

An address where someone's letters and parcels are sent, which is not the place where that person lives.
代收信件的地址
You can think of a mail drop as the place where the post stops and waits. Letters travel, then they stop somewhere, and only later does a person come and collect them. What makes the word useful is that the stopping place and the person are pulled apart on purpose: the mail is here, and you are somewhere else. Make the stopping place a whole address and you get the first meaning; shrink it to one box in a post office and you get the second.
