    A Luxembourger is a person from Luxembourg — the small country between Belgium, Germany, and France. We use it like other country-plus-er words: a New Yorker, a , a Luxembourger. It can mean one person or, in the plural, the people of that country: Luxembourgers. Though actually, in careful writing you may also see Luxembourgish for the language, and sometimes for the people as an adjective (a Luxembourgish writer). Luxembourger is the usual noun for the person. You would not say “a Luxembourg” to mean a person; that names the place. The word is neutral and normal — just the ordinary way to say where someone is from.
