    Lifecasting is the habit of showing your real daily life on the internet, very regularly — video of what you are doing, or a stream of short messages — so other people can watch you live your day. It is stronger than posting now and then: the point is to send your life out like a programme about you. Old webcam rooms and today’s long “come spend the day with me” streams both sit in this habit. Though actually many people now just say livestreaming or “posting my day,” and lifecasting can sound a little old or specialist. The same spelling is also used in art for making a hard copy of a living body with plaster or similar material; that is not this sense. Here we mean the internet habit.
