Lewd describes words, looks, jokes, or body movements that push sex at you in a crude way. A lewd comment at work, a lewd dance meant to shock, a lewd picture sent to someone who did not ask — all of these feel rude, not tender. It is a strong, blaming word. You will hear it in news, in school rules, and when adults are angry; you will not hear it as a compliment. Though actually, hundreds of years ago, lewd meant , or not a church-trained person. The sex meaning came later, and that is the only meaning you will meet now.
猥褻、下流(帶性意味)
