A lazybones is a lazy person. You say it in a friendly, teasing way to someone you like — a child who will not get out of bed, a friend still under the blanket at noon. It is informal, a little old-fashioned, and a little like talking to a child. You would not write it in a school report, and you would not say it to your boss. Though actually, it is often warm, not cruel: the bones part just means the whole person, as if even their bones will not get up. Some people write lazy-bones with a little line in the middle; the one-word form is the usual dictionary form.
