    About toilets — but you almost always hear it about jokes and talk, not about the room itself. If a comedian’s humour is lavatorial, the jokes are about peeing, pooing, and toilet smells. It is a British word, a little posh-sounding, and it can be gently : as if the jokes are childish or crude. Sometimes it is only describing, not . Americans almost never use it. You would not call a bathroom “lavatorial” the way you call a joke that.
