Kraft is a big American food company. For many English speakers the name first means cheese: and cheese, plastic-wrapped cheese slices, and other supermarket food. The company later came to own , the British chocolate maker, so the same huge name now sits behind a lot of sweets as well. You will see Kraft on packets and in business news. It is a company name, so we write it with a capital K. Though actually, there is a different word kraft with a small k, for strong brown paper; that is not this company.
