If a person is knock-kneed, their knees lean in towards each other, so the knees sit closer than the ankles. When they stand with their feet a little apart, the knees may almost touch — the old picture is that the knees knock together. The opposite shape is bow-legged, where the knees stay wide and the legs look like a bow. Quite a few children look a bit knock-kneed and then grow straighter; in adults it can just be the way their body is built. It is a body-shape word, a little old-fashioned and blunt, not a kind nickname. Doctors have a more technical name for the same shape, but ordinary English still says knock-kneed.
組成knock + kneed: from the picture of the knees knocking against each other. Kneed here just means 'having knees of that kind'.
