Job-sharing is an arrangement where one full-time job is done by two people, each working part-time. They split the hours, the pay, and usually the duties — Monday to Wednesday for one person, Thursday and Friday for the other, for example, though the split can be almost any shape. Companies use it so someone who cannot work a full week — often a parent of a young child — can still keep a real post, not just odd hours. Though actually, it only works if the two people talk a lot: they have to hand work over , or things fall in the gap between them. It is more talked about in Britain and Europe than in many Taiwan offices. People also say a job-share for the arrangement, and to job-share as a verb. It is not the same as two people simply both working part-time in different jobs.
job-sharing 是兩個人分攤一份全職工作的安排，各自做兼職工時。工時、薪水通常也會分開，職責一起分，例如一人負責週一到三，另一人負責週四和週五。公司採用這種做法，是讓無法全時上班的人，例如有小小孩的父母，仍然能保有正式職位，而不只是零星的工時。
這種安排要兩個人常常溝通、把工作交接清楚，否則事情可能會掉在兩人之間的空檔。這個做法在英國和歐洲談得比較多，台灣許多辦公室比較少聽到。也可以把它當名詞說 a job-share，或當動詞說 to job-share。
