Intuitive describes something you understand or feel is true right away, without having to think hard or reason it out step by step — an intuitive person notices things others miss, almost by instinct. The word is also used a lot for design: an intuitive app or intuitive design is one that's easy to use immediately, without needing instructions, because it just makes sense.
