If something is insupportable, it is so bad or so that you cannot live with it any longer. It is a strong, rather formal word — closer to unbearable than to "a bit ," though angry speakers do stretch it. You might hear it about heat, noise, , or a way of treating people. Everyday English more often says unbearable or "I cannot stand it." Though actually, in very careful English the same word can also mean "cannot be held up with reasons" (an insupportable claim). The meaning you will meet in stories and complaints is the "too much to bear" one.
