Immutably means 'in a way that does not change' or 'in a way that cannot be changed'. If a date is immutably fixed, it stays that date. If someone is immutably opposed to a plan, they will not be talked out of it. You will mostly meet this in careful writing, not in speech. A student can usually say 'it never changes' and be just as clear — and a little kinder on the ear.
