- 1
Hooped means shaped like a hoop — a circle or ring — or having hoops on it. Hooped are round rings for the ear. A barrel is hooped when metal bands go around it to hold the wood. In clothes and sports kit, hooped can mean stripes that run around in rings, like some football shirts and socks. It is simply hoop with -ed: a describing word, not a very common one outside objects, jewellery, and design.
環狀的、有箍的、一圈圈的
組成hoop + -ed (having the shape of a hoop, or fitted with hoops).
