A homepage is the first page of a website — the page you usually land on, with the name of the site and links to the other pages. It is the front door. You click Home or the logo to go back to the homepage. It is an everyday computer word, not fancy. People stretch it in two common ways. They sometimes say homepage when they mean the whole website (“visit our homepage”), though strictly that is the site, and the homepage is only the first page. And a browser can have a homepage too: the page that opens when you start the browser, which might be a search site, not “your” website at all.
