Holographic is the adjective for that laser picture. A holographic sticker or holographic image is the kind that looks as if it is not flat when you look from another angle — the credit-card shine, the changing colours as you tilt it. It is built as holo- + graph + -ic: “whole,” plus “written or drawn,” plus “of that kind.” Though actually, the same word has an older paper-and-ink life that has nothing to do with lasers. In law, a holographic will is a will written wholly in the person’s own handwriting. Same building blocks, two jobs. Here we mean the laser-picture one.
