A headrest is the top part of a seat that the back of your head can lean on. You see it in cars, on planes, on coaches, and on some office chairs. It is there so your neck does not have to hold your head up the whole time; in a car it also helps protect you if something hits the car from behind. It is not a pillow you carry around, and it is not the whole seat — only that top bit behind your head. Some headrests can be moved up or down to match how tall you are.
