When you feel harassed, you feel anxious and tired because too many problems or jobs are sitting on you at once. You are not necessarily being attacked; you are worn down. A parent with three children and a full-time job might say they feel harassed. British speakers use this a lot in everyday talk, and it can sound a little softer than “I’m stressed.” Though actually, the same spelling is also the past form of the verb harass, which is harsher: that is when someone keeps bothering or threatening you on purpose. People sometimes stretch the tired-and-busy meaning until it almost means “a bit ,” which is weaker than the word used to be.
