    If someone is happy-go-lucky, they enjoy life and do not worry much about tomorrow. They take things as they come. It can be a warm thing to say: this person is light, cheerful, not crushed by plans. Though actually it can also hint that they are not careful enough, that they leave too much to luck. It describes a character, not a one-off mood: a happy-go-lucky person is like that most of the time. Informal, friendly English; you will see it in stories more than in formal writing. It is not the same as lucky. A lucky person has good things fall on them; a happy-go-lucky person just does not sit up at night making lists.

    happy-go-lucky 形容一個人享受生活、不太為明天操心，凡事隨遇而安。它指的是性格，不是一時的心情。用來稱讚時很溫暖，說這人開朗、不被計畫壓垮，但也可能帶一點不夠謹慎、太依賴運氣的意味。它是非正式的用語，常在故事或口語中出現。它和 lucky 不同：lucky 是好事降臨在身上，happy-go-lucky 則是晚上不會坐起來列清單煩惱的人。
