A short sound people write to show a small laugh, or a feeling of surprise, satisfaction, or 'I knew it.' It's a lot like 'ha,' but a little sharper — you might say or write 'Hah!' when you catch someone in a mistake, or when something turns out exactly the way you expected. It shows up much more in writing (texting, comics, stories) than as a word people plan out loud.
