Guyanese is the word for a person from Guyana, and for things that belong to that country — Guyanese food, a Guyanese passport, Guyanese English. The country itself is Guyana, not Guyanese. Guyana sits on the north-east coast of South America, between Venezuela and , with Georgetown as its capital. It was once British Guiana, and it is the only English-speaking country on the South American mainland. So a Guyanese person may speak English at school and Guyanese Creole with family. You make the word from the country name plus -ese, the same kind of ending as in Chinese or Japanese.
蓋亞那人;蓋亞那的
組成Guyana + -ese (the ending English uses for “from that place”).
