- 1
Something God-given is received from God — a talent, a gift, a chance, or a quality you did not make yourself. People often say a God-given talent for music or sport. They also say a God-given right when they believe nobody should take that thing away. It can be sincerely religious, or just a strong way to say natural, not earned, and not to be questioned.
