Globalization is the process of things — especially business, money, news, and culture — spreading so that they work across many countries, or the result of that process. A company that sells the same phone in fifty countries is part of it; so is food from far away in a Taiwan supermarket, or a film everyone watches in the same week. People also talk about cultural globalization: songs, clothes, and slang crossing borders. The word is common in news, school, and business. Some speakers praise it (cheaper goods, more contact); some fear it (local shops dying, the same shops on every street). Though actually, the word names a process, not a moral. You still have to say whether you think the process is fair.

From globalize + -ation.
globalize 加 -ation。
組成globalize + -ation. Globalize is global + -ize (“to make”). -ation turns the verb into a process or result. Global itself is globe + -al.
