If you are frazzled, you feel worn out and a bit anxious — tired, and easily bothered, often after a long trip, a busy day, or too many small jobs at once. It is informal and friendly. People say it about themselves a lot: 'I'm frazzled.' The picture is of cloth worn until the threads stick out; you can also say someone is 'worn to a frazzle'. It is about how you feel, not about being ill. A parent, a , or a worker at the end of a hard day might all use it. It is not rude, and it is not a doctor's word.
