When something is filmic, it belongs to films, or to the art of making them: a filmic style, a filmic image, filmic language. It is not the everyday word for “about movies.” You will hear it from people who write about cinema, from film students, from critics — a little formal, a little in love with the craft. Friends more often just say movie or film. Though actually, people also stretch it. A street at night, a look on someone’s face, even a photograph can feel filmic if it looks as if it had been planned for the screen: the light, the framing, the mood. Do not hear “made of plastic film” in this word. That is a different film. This one is the cinema kind. A close cousin is cinematic; many speakers use that one more.

    電影的;電影感的(偏書面,影評、電影課較常用)
