A feat is something you did that is impressive, because it needed a lot of skill, strength, or courage. Climbing a high mountain, cooking for two hundred people, or learning a hard piece of music can all be feats. The word sounds a little old and a little proud — you say it when you want to praise how hard it was. A common phrase is "no small feat," which means that was actually hard. A feat is not just any action; ordinary things you do every day are not feats.
壯舉
組成From Anglo-Norman fet / Old French fait "deed, action," from Latin factum "something done," from facere "to do." It is a doublet of fact: two English words that started from the same Latin word and arrived by different roads.
