If something is done or looks exotically, it feels unusual and interesting because it seems tied to a far country — and the word is kind. You reach for it when you like that foreign flavour, not when you want to say 'strange' or 'wrong'. A dish can be exotically ; a garden can be exotically planted; a dress can be cut in an exotically different way. It is a little literary. In everyday talk people often just say 'so exotic' or 'in an exotic way'. The heart of the meaning is still exotic: unusual and interesting because it feels foreign, used with approval.
充滿異國風情地
