Exeunt is not a word you say in the street. It is a stage direction — a note printed in a play to tell the actors what to do. It means two or more people leave the stage. If one person leaves, the script says Exit. If several leave, it says Exeunt. Shakespeare and other old plays use it all the time: 'Exeunt Hamlet and Horatio.' Directors and actors still meet it when they read those scripts; a new play in modern English would more likely just write 'They leave' or 'They exit.' The word is Latin, left as Latin, and it is almost never spoken aloud except in a classroom when someone is reading the stage notes. Say it roughly 'EK-see-unt.'
