1. 1

Enticingly tells you how something is done or how it appears: in a way that pulls you in. Fruit may be piled enticingly in a window; a job may be enticingly close to home; a price may be enticingly low. It is the adverb of “enticing,” so it rides on the same idea — attractive, a little hard to refuse. You will see it in writing more than hear it in fast speech. Though actually, it is a favourite of ads and food writing: “enticingly low prices” is a polished way to say “they want you to come.”

    誘人地。多半出現在書面或廣告,口語較少。
